Böllhoff expands in Morocco

The first own Böllhoff site in North Africa will be established near Casablanca.

With the signing of a partnership agreement between the Midparc industrial park and Böllhoff on 13 March 2024, it is now official: Böllhoff's first own site in North Africa is being set up at Midparc near Casablanca, Morocco. Around 2,000 square metres of building space will be available to our company there as of May 2024.

"As an economically up-and-coming country, Morocco is very promising, for example for the aviation industry. After initial steps there in 2023 in a small sales office, we as a company now want to grow close to our local customers - including our own production and logistics." - Michael W. Böllhoff Member of company management

First own Böllhoff location in North Africa

The new building in the Midparc industrial park near Casablanca in Morocco can be occupied from May 2024. It offers enough space for production, logistics and offices on around 2,000 m² of building space. 8 employees will be working at the site from the outset.

In future, the site will primarily produce special fasteners for the local aviation industry. It will undergo the demanding certification procedures needed for the industry over the course of this year, with the first customer deliveries scheduled to begin at the start of 2025. With the start of this productive phase, the number of employees is supposed to increase to up to 15.

Signing ceremony attended by the Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade

The agreement between Böllhoff and Midparc was signed in the presence of the Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour. Mezzour welcomed the next industrial partnership within his country and expressed his delight at "the first German company in the joining technology sector to invest in Morocco". In addition to Böllhoff, several internationally active companies are already represented in Midparc, including various companies from the aviation industry.
