Czech auto producer Škoda Auto announced a record of 1.254 million vehicles last year, up 4.4 percent year on year.
Sales revenue also increased 4.4 percent compared to the previous year and achieved the best result in its history.
Non-consolidated profit after tax fell by 9 percent to CZK 28.89 billion. The Volkswagen Group attributed this to a 22 percent increase in investments in tangible assets last year.
Škoda Auto, Czech's largest exporter, has invested more than 500 million euros directly to the plants and facilities in the Czech Republic in 2018.
